Hancock County Health Department
The Hancock County Health Department provides preventive healthcare services to the whole community.
Clinic hours:
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
- 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Tuesday.
Service Fees & Insurance:
- Small fees are charged for some services such as:
- Administering immunizations, RPR and/or tuberculin skin tests, water sampling and septic tank inspections & permits.
- Some services are charged on a sliding scale based on client income and family size.
- Medicaid/Medicare are billed for participating clients with presentation of card at the time of visit.
- No one is denied service because of inability to pay or lack of Medicaid/Medicare.
