The STD Clinic is conveniently located downtown in the Salt Lake Public Health Center at 610 South 200 East, 2nd Floor.
Parking is available on the west side of the building, or the clinic is two blocks south of the Library station on the TRAX red line.
Make an appointment by calling 385-468-4242.
We are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and accommodate walk-in patients when possible, but you can decrease your wait time and guarantee being seen by making an appointment.
Our clinical staff is the most experienced in the state, with over 50 years of combined experience in the STD field. We have Spanish speakers on-staff, and we provide translation services for other languages.
Please note that children are not allowed in STD exam rooms, and cannot be left unattended in our lobby.
All visits to the clinic, except when testing only for HIV, require a $50 office visit fee. If you are testing only for HIV, there is no office visit fee.

“The mission of the Salt Lake County Health Department is simple: “To promote and protect community and environmental health.” We work to protect and improve the well-being of all county residents by preventing disease, illness, and injury and by impacting social, economic, and environmental factors fundamental to excellent health. Every day, we immunize children, inspect restaurants, keep tobacco out of the hands of minors, encourage physical activity, teach proper nutrition, protect our water and air, provide culturally appropriate services to a multitude of disparate populations, and collaborate with our community partners to ensure that public health works for residents of all cities and unincorporated areas in Salt Lake County.”Source: South Redwood Public Health Center website
